Based in Lisbon she is amazed by the unknown and extraordinary, Lua is a noteworthy filmmaker characterized by her ability to juxtapose sets, colorful light sculptures, and production design with rigorous camera movements. Attracted by narratives with a social commitment, her sensitivity and respect for humanity give her films the freedom and sincerity many wishes to achieve.
In 2020, she was recognized with Gold in El Ojo + Mujeres Directoras. With a great passion for painting, photography, and all forms of creative expression, Lua has crafted powerful work for clients including Absolut, Apple, Jeep, Discovery Channel, PepsiCo, Samsung, Unilever, Nestlé, and P&G.
