Miguel Thomé Biography
Miguel Thomé is a director of authorial vision and expresses through his films ludic narratives that involve his spectators in a seductive journey to the world that was created by him. A London-based Brazilian, he began his career directing music videos and short films. His most prestigious short, "Inanimate"; was selected for one of the biggest video dance festivals in Asia - Jumping Frames International Dance Film Festival Hong Kong 2014. Since then, films for brands such as Dior, McDonald's, Red Bull, AOC, CNA were some of the projects that consecrated the director in the international advertising circuit, besides the recognition of prizes of great prestige, among them, Clio Awards, One Show, Smarties Awards and CCPR. His publicity work excels in meticulously translating his ideas into art direction, as well as actor direction and character creation. As a result, MIG films reveal eccentric worlds and bold ideas. In his projects, the director seeks to explore the body in a fluid and sensitive way, using symbolic and metaphorical elements to portray the intensity of his art. In 2019, Thomé enters the hall of international directors of BRO cinema, strengthening the versatility of the directors of the house with his peculiar look, biased towards humor and the ode to the imaginary.
